Renewable energy summit set in Cebu on Mar 7-8

February 23, 2011 - A renewable energy summit is set in Cebu next month to spell out ways to develop renewable sources of energy for the country.

The Cebu Green Economy Series: Renewable Energy Summit on March 7 and 8 is the first in the country.

The summit aims to map out mechanisms for a market in renewable energy as well as identify resources in Central Visayas.

Keynote speakers of the summit are Energy Secretary Jose Almendras and Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri.
