Green-focused entrepreneurs offered guidance

Feb 23 2011 - GREEN-FOCUSED entrepreneurs are being offered guidance from businesses which have already made a success from the low carbon economy.

A series of three flagship events are being staged next month under the Operation Green banner, to support new and growing firms aiming to turn a profit from the green economy.

The initiative, which was launched last year by Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, is being organised in the region by South Tyneside-based enterprise agency Tedco and funded by One North East.

Each of the three events will showcase a successful North East business which has taken advantage of green opportunities. {continued}
