No shocker: California leads nation in clean energy, transportation growth
Aug 28, 2013 - California again led the nation in the growth of new clean energy and clean transportation projects — by a lot.

A survey of new clean energy projects announced in the second quarter of this year found 58 projects nationwide, with 12 of them in California. The California projects represent more than 9,000 jobs.

The next closest state was Nevada, which had three new projects announced.

Those 58 projects nationwide represent 38,900 jobs. And those jobs range from solar and wind power, biomass, public transportation, electricity transmission upgrades, smart-grid technology and existing building efficiency upgrades. read more>>>
