11 April 2013 - Tottenville High School’s Green Technology Club refines their car design of their award-winning racer for the National Solar-Car Competition. The Green Technology students have built a solar-powered car bound for national competition for three consecutive years.
They hope to create a new state-of-the-art Solar power car which will enter the U.S. Solar Car Challenge this July. Last year the students took 2nd place and were honored by Mayor Bloomberg for exclusively representing the New York. On Saturday April 13th, from 10am to 2pm, the students will have an open house to show the new Carbon Fiber car to the public. read more>>>
