While good news this is still way to slow, if the so called free market capitalism investing had been taking place, especially as the economy was tanking, just in these past five years, not to mention blocking the growth of for some forty years previous and still by the special interests, a new industry with tens of thousands of jobs, or more, would have been created and we'd have been leading the world! Why that's what this country once did in many area's and not to long ago but before the new capitalism now practiced!
On April 18, 2012, Environmental Entrepreneurs reported that clean energy employers announced 137 projects in 42 states during the first quarter of 2012. They estimated that these projects could create up to 46,000 new green jobs.
These clean energy jobs will be in a variety of sectors, including renewable energy power generation, energy efficiency, manufacturing of renewable energy parts and electric vehicles, public transportation, and biofuels.
The manufacturing sector announced 35 projects that would create 10,000 green jobs. This makes it the leading sector for green job creation, which echoes the findings of the Bureau of Labor Statistics' green goods and services jobs (GGS jobs) report. read more>>>
