Mar 18, 2011 – Olde Heritage Builders, a Zebulon based home building and Realty company known for their commitment to sustainability, has announced the launch of their new web hub, Shields of Green (http://www.shieldsofgreen.com). This site serves as a resource connecting the different entities founded by the Ray family, including Olde Heritage Building, Ray Family Farms, NC Energy Savers, The Green Builder Guy, The Greater Good Network, and more.
What started in 1974 as a woman owned business by Betty Ray has grown into a multigenerational and family owned multitude of companies. “We base all of our businesses off of one core belief: to meet the needs of current generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own,” says Olde Heritage Owner, Chad Ray. “Some call that the definition of sustainability and others call that leaving the world better than how one found it.
