UK’s first green energy park nears construction following £450m KNM deal

21 December 2010 - The UK’s first sustainable energy park is a step closer to being built following a £450m engineering, procurement and construction deal that its developer Peterborough Renewable Energy has signed with Malaysian manufacturing giant KNM Group Berhad.


Green Energy Parks intends the Peterborough park to be the first in a nationwide network of green energy plants that are designed to change the country’s handling of mixed waste. {continued}
