October 20th, 2010 - Renewable energy developments these days are starting to get creative with their handles. First, there was the massive Turning Point Solar solar development planned for Ohio. Now there’s Wyoming’s Top of the World wind farm, created by Duke Energy.
Located in Converse County, Top of the World is Duke Energy’s fourth and largest wind farm in the state, with 110 wind turbines capable of producing 200 megawatts(MWs)–enough electricity to power approximately 60,000 homes The company also owns and operates the 99-MW Campbell Hill Windpower Project, also in Converse County, and two wind farms near Cheyenne. {read rest}
