HA NOI (VNS)— October, 09 2012 - Issues relating to waste and sewage management, energy saving and renewable sources of energy in Viet Nam were high on the agenda at the Poland-Viet Nam Environmental Protection Forum that opened in Ha Noi yesterday.
At the forum, participants discussed how to use the 2005 environment law to minimise the negative impacts of socio-economic development on the environment.
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and the Environment Bui Cach Tuyen said Viet Nam was striving to build a green economy by using environmentally friendly and energy saving technologies.
The forum also provided an excellent opportunity for Polish businesses to invest in this field in Viet Nam, said Tuyen. read more>>>
