April 15, 2014 - If the state of Oregon were powered entirely by renewable energy, what would that mix look like?Researchers at Stanford University set out to answer that question about all 50 states in a report called The Solutions Project.
The report combines current energy and economic data with future projections to illustrate a plan to reach state-by-state renewable status by 2050.
Oregon's projected energy mix includes 45 percent from wind, 25 percent hydroelectric, 23 percent from various solar technologies and 7 percent from wave, geothermal and tidal turbines. read more>>>
