Build Smart NY celebrating huge energy-efficiency savings
February 14, 2013 - The New York Power Authority (NYPA) and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) have announced that energy-efficiency projects at the State University of New York at Albany (UAlbany) will save approximately $704,000 in energy costs and eliminate more than 4,100 tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually.

The improvements go a long way to meeting the "Build Smart NY" goal of increasing energy efficiency in state buildings by 20 percent in seven years.

By strategically accelerating priority improvements in energy performance, the statewide initiative will save millions of dollars and create thousands of jobs. read more>>>
