20 December 2012 - The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development to support Ethiopia's effort to build a resilient green economy.
The agreement was signed between Ahmed Shide, State Minister of Finance and Economic Development and Eugene Owusu, UNDP Director for Ethiopia on Wednesday (December 19th). Under the MoU the Ministry will have a role in coordinating finance donated by development partners to different government offices in connection with projects aimed at building a resilient green economy.
In addition, the Ministry of Finance will have responsibility to lead and administer the efforts of building the green economy. read more>>>
