The push for clean, green energy goes on
Aug 9, 2012 - Skeptics still abound, but at least in this part of the world the green energy movement is going strong.

The more we look, the more we see. Innovations are taking hold in places we might not have anticipated, such as east valley farms and the Marine base at Twentynine Palms.

And in the desert that surrounds us, the green revolution is in full throttle with vast solar farms that should go a long way toward making the country less dependent on fossil fuels.

At the National Clean Energy Summit this week in Las Vegas, former President Bill Clinton made a strong push for more public-private cooperation on renewable energy projects. read more>>>
