Selecting an energy storage option just got easier
May 14, 2012 - Sandia National Laboratories and the Department of Energy and DVN KEMA have released a tool that makes it easier for utilities, developers, and regulators to conduct a quick, high-level analysis of energy storage options and determine the value of energy storage technologies for a specified application.

There are many technologies to consider with energy storage, including flywheels, compressed air, pumped hydro and thermal storage, and six types of electric batteries -- all with different costs. Estimating revenue from myriad applications is difficult. read more>>>
