Clean & Green: Domestic Retrofit Market

Yup, we started these some years back with government investments, same with alternative energy sources some forty years back which were blocked, by special interests, since and still are with now little private investments into, the con of free market capitalism.

Good trades folks and small contractors, doing home and commercial retrofits, would integrate energy saving methods into same knowing much more could be done. Products that don't exist or upfront costs to save in the long term.

The payback for doing so covers many issues!!

New Green Construction Board sees domestic retrofit market as a major growth opportunity
The newly formed Government Green Constriction board highlighted the opportunity for the smaller builder in the domestic sustainability market at their first meeting recently.

The board which is co-chaired by Business Minister Mark Prisk and Lend Lease Chief Executive Dan Labbad is committed to seeing sustainable construction lead the industry growth.

“There are approximately 25 million existing homes to be retrofitted by the end of 2050. This is a huge business opportunity that small construction firms should grasp” Prisk said: “The potential for low carbon growth is enormous.” read more>>>
