May 20 2011 - BUSINESS leaders in Wales yesterday committed to playing their part into further reducing carbon emissions and promoting corporate social responsibility.
Business in the Community Wales yesterday staged a Prince’s Mayday Summit event at Cardiff’s Swalec Stadium as part of a UK-wide network of events organised by the charity.
Delivering the keynote speech at the Prince’s Mayday Summit, Tony Juniper, a senior associate with the Cambridge University Programme for Sustainability Leadership, said that “green equals sound economics” and said there were “real opportunities in Wales for industrial transformation”.
Addressing the audience of 150 business leaders Mr Juniper said that there was no option but to act now. {continued}
