Fiji to adopt Green Economy Policy

May 24, 2011 - Fiji is considering adopting a Green Economy Policy - which involves carrying out development with reduced environmental risks says Environment Minister Colonel Samuela Saumatua.

Speaking at the opening of the 3rd Regional meeting of the Ozone Network at the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji - Saumatua says the policy will ensure that any development carried out in the country will have to be environmentally friendly. {continued}
