"Green" policies vital for emerging economies

2011-04-05 - An international business specialist group has announced that the move towards a green economy is becoming more urgent for emerging economies, especially South Africa.

On Monday Innovation Group, the South African subsidiary of the London listed Innovation Group announced that green economic policies were becoming increasingly important on the global landscape and even more so for emerging economies like South Africa.

According to Pule Mokoena, from Innovation Group, experts believe the adoption of these green policies will assist with "ailing economies."

"The move to a green economy, such as the adoption of alternative energy solutions, should be embraced by economies and countries," said Mokoena. {continued}
