HBF welcomes green construction hub funding confirmation

03/02/2011 - The Home Builders Federation (HBF) has welcomed the announcement that the Zero Carbon Hub will receive funding for another year.

However, the organisation admitted that despite the Hub's impressive performance since being launched, there are still improvements that can be made to boost green construction.

Executive chairman of the HBF Stewart Baseley, joint chair of the Zero Carbon Task Force, said he is delighted the project will continue to be financed.

'The review I have just completed clearly demonstrates its effectiveness,' he explained. 'It has achieved a great deal in the short time it has been established.' {continued}
