Survey: One in five U.S. drivers likely to buy electric car

Two in five, or 40%, say they would pay up to 20% more for such a vehicle, finds the survey of 1,716 U.S. drivers by IBM's Institute for Business Value. The survey, taken Dec. 9-13, includes a mix of suburban, rural and urban drivers.
