Solar projects by Sepulveda Veterans Administration

The only fear here is if the (TEA), once (GOP), block funding or cut back in the future as these VA's save budget money on greener buildings etc. thus to use for care and more for Veterans!

The Sepulveda Veterans Administration

December 6th 2010 - The Sepulveda VA is planning to set up a solar energy system worth $21 million as a portion of Veterans Administration plans to green its facilities across the country. The solar project set up at the medical centers controlled by VA is one among the 18 that is being installed which expects to add around $200 million in federal stimulus money for the development of renewable and efficient energy systems across the country.

Apart from this another $200 million will be included in the energy conservation and generation of clean energy. The West Los Angeles Medical Center located at Wilshire Boulevard will receive $16.4 million solar energy system apart from VA’s Ambulatory Care Center located in North Hills. Ross Manoukian, VA’s health care system energy manager in Los Angeles said they are very much pleased to start this project. {read rest}
