Shortage of Qualified Energy Professionals???

I'll say this once again, there are numerous professionals sitting on our collective butts while everyone talks and writes! From the once paper pushers in the company offices to the ones, like me, that do the physical and mental work in the field in all the trades that quickly grasp any need, many with multiple trades experience! One does need the new breed but not pushed out by the higher education industry but those who actually want to learn and practice the veried professions needed!

December 01, 2010 - Next week, the World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC), America’s premier energy event, will host the results presentation of the Association of Energy Engineers’ (AEE) survey on Green Jobs and Energy Industry Market Trends.

Based on the current economic condition and the need for job creation, the survey indicated there were many opportunities to create a new workforce based on the innovative technologies being deployed as well as the number of experienced professional scheduled to exit the energy industry.
