'Big Green Buy'

There already has been Great movement within the agencies, especially the VA, finally after a decade plus of No 'Sacrifice' by the citizens who buy the cheap "support the troops" magnetic ribbons {till they fall off} and make fun of us In Country 'Nam Navy vets as well as Purple Heart Recipients with their "purple heart bandages", as Shinseki used 1.8billion of Recovery Funds {stimulus} to Upgrade National Cemeteries as well as New with Solar and more around the Country, Upgrade existing and build New VA Clinics and Hospitals, with green needs, around the Country {still much more needed}! These are just some of what is still ongoing, created jobs on the front end and long term as well as continued growth help within the communities where located. All this will save budget monies and help clean up waste and contamination. What is needed is to stop the paper pushers constant meetings, in the private sector, and actually do projects, as well as Force the wealthy into that 'trickle down' economics they conned the country with!

Commentary: Obama should make the 'Big Green Buy'

Those on both sides of the issue say there is no chance of strong action emerging from Washington over the next two years to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Luckily, that's not true. President Barack Obama has the power to unleash dramatic emissions reductions without congressional approval. And in the course of doing so, the president can bring jobs and profits to communities across the nation, even in places represented by climate change deniers such as Sen.-elect Roy Blunt of Missouri.

How? By mobilizing the government's vast purchasing power to kick-start a green energy revolution. Federal spending is responsible for roughly 25 percent of the gross national product, giving Washington enormous power to influence marketplace behavior even if annual spending levels are trimmed. {continued}
