Possitive Economics/Capitalism: Stimulus Spending

When you don't get the 'trickle down' of 'ronnynomics' {call it whatever you want the cons got plenty of names} on just the wealth to the top then nothing from huge tax cuts for those wealthy the only one left is the Federal Government to stop the collapse and get some jobs/money into some hands of the rest!

Stimulus spending helped fund local projects, created jobs


November 25, 2010 - During political campaigns in the United States we are accustomed to hearing unsubstantiated claims and charges from all sides of the political debate. However, in the election cycle that just concluded, one of the most egregious and unsubstantiated claims from Republicans was the notion that the U.S. government's American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (the "stimulus") has been a failure and an epic waste of money.

Most of our local and state Republican and Tea Party candidates ran with the promise to end the stimulus program.

The notion that the stimulus has been a failure is completely untrue, a fact that can be easily substantiated by spending 10 minutes at the website Recovery.gov, which describes where stimulus money is being used in every community across the United States. {read rest}
