GreenBuild 2010: Closing Ceremony Exudes Energy and Optimism

11/19/2010 - After an exciting, exhausting, jam-packed three days, the closing plenary this morning was a fitting end to this whirlwind of a conference. If you didn’t stick around to hear Mayor Richard M. Daley, HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan, eco-pioneer Ray Anderson, and environmentalist Paul Hawken, you truly missed out on one of the highlights of the entire event. A summary of the first half of the ceremony:

I got to chat with Rick Fedrizzi for a moment before the start and was ecstatic to hear that he loves GreenSource: “It looks great, feels great, and has an infinite shelf life.” He still owns every single issue since the very first one came out in 2006! {read rest}
