Copenhagen a Clean Tech Leader

Copenhagen Shows How Cities Can Become Clean Tech Leaders
Copenhagen, Denmark – 10/30/2012 - Every city, it seems, wants to be a clean tech leader. One city consistently ranked (PDF) among the world leaders in the sector is Copenhagen.

A new report from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) confirms Copenhagen’s clean tech sector is not only driving regional economic growth, its green firms outperformed other sectors during the economic downturn. The unpublished report is the first in a series of OECD reports analyzing different regions’ efforts to transition to green growth. The complete Copenhagen report will be published in December. Future reports will review green growth performance in regions of Germany; Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg; and Chile. read more>>>
