Jul 25, 2013 - The four largest public and private universities in the Triad have teamed up to tackle a research project aimed at bringing down the cost of solar energy.
N.C. A&T State University, UNC-Greensboro, Winston-Salem State University and Wake Forest University have joined forces to create the Four Universities Solar Consortium, according to N.C. A&T. The consortium is working to develop a low-cost solar concentrator that, if it works, would lower the cost and increase the economic viability of producing electricity from sunlight. read more>>>
